Level Refinement and Bug Fixes


Howdy Frisbros,

More bug fixes incoming.  You guys have been incredible in this last push before release.  I’ve been getting bug reports and detailed issue lists, and I’m doing my best to fix all the bugs before release.  All of this has really helped harden the game and make it the best version of itself that it can be.  If you find any other issues, please post it in the comments or send feedback to my email.

Patch notes:

  • General: Widen the colliders on all movable objects to make pushing easier
  • General: Updated movement system to allow for pitfall recovery time off moving platforms, but not quicksand or ice moving platforms
  • General: On moving platforms that are triggered by teleport, the platforms now pause if the disc is not held or in flight.  Done to encourage players actively passing while on these platforms instead of accepting strokes and leaving it on the ground
  • General: Place the flag lower than the disc’s actual throw location to avoid sprite flickering when camera shifts
  • Five Pillars: Add Read me indicator to every single sign in the level
  • Five pillars: Added explanation of how to perfect throw the disc
  • Woods: Added sign explaining the last throw flag
  • Woods: Added sign reminding player that the How-to is available from pause menu
  • Two Bridges: Allowed players to place objects on pressure pads without standing on it themselves
  • Two Bridges: Prevent player from accidentally respawn on other side of closed door
  • Factory: Added a knock down bumper to the final conveyor belt to ease the disc drop onto the belt
  • Azteca Arrow Traps: Add a helpful arrow to show which side the arrows will come from on the two person pressure pad puzzle
  • Windy Chasm: Added water to right hand side of map
  • Disc Dug: Add short walls to the the top and bottom of brick breaker areas so players can’t fall into water
  • Disc Dug: Slowed the disc bounce even more in brick breaker rooms
  • Disc Dug: Changed the tail of the phantom discs to avoid confusion between phantom and blue discs
  • Frogs: Removed 2 decorations getting in the way of yellow frogs tossing disc back to player
  • Frog: Reduce size of frog’s standing pads so player is discourage from jumping onto them
  • Frogs: Reduced throw force of certain frogs to prevent disc from landing in unwanted locations
  • Spikes: Shortened the distance between spikes in the alternating upward shot room
  • Minecart: Moved the first part of the level far enough away that you can’t jump over and not use the teleporter
  • Minecart: Move the first teleport location closer to minecarts so players can hope right in without moving around
  • Vortex: U-Turn shot. Tweaked disc respawn locations to better suggest where player should throw from
  • Vortex: Widen all target hitboxes for vortex throws
  • Finale: Widen the hitbox for the vortex throw
  • Finale: 2nd gauntlet of boss level placed respawn point on carpet to guide player throw
  • Finale: Squished the minecart area horizontally and vertically so it’s better framed in the camera
